Turning into a piece of Candy
Part One of this feature shows the Original Peppermint Trick painting, and how it began the inspiration for a new Latex Fashion & a new painting based on this creation.
The next part of the process was in the hands of Polymorphe Latex and Mario Bouchard. With my concepts, sketches and measurements Mario was able to bring my creation to life. The plan was to wear this new collaboration to the Latexacy Ball in Montreal. When I arrived at Mario's studio, I was speechless! My art had come to life and fit was perfect!

After Returning home from an amazing time at Montreal Fetish Weekend, it was time for me to turn the NEW outfit into art. The next step was to do a photoshoot to document the outfit & provide reference photos. (Figure 1) This gave me a real appreciation for the hard work that my models do. After deciding on a pose to use, I created a rough sketch. (Figure 2)
Next came the study. (Figure 3) I enjoy working with markers when I am planning out a painting.
After the planning stage, I move right on to painting. In Figure 4 you can see one of the "in progress" images.
That brings us back to the new "Polymint" painting you see at the top left. "Polymint" is the first of a series of peppermint themed works...and the first of many latex creations.
